Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Make sure that all industrial cleaning, sandblasting, plate stripping, electroplating, wax masking, metal oxidation, and gun bluing is carried out in compliance with OEM standards, technical instructions, and KPIs.
- Help create job plans for industrial cleaning, sandblasting, plate stripping, electroplating, wax masking, metal oxidation, and gun bluing CM.
- As part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program, carry out quality maintenance tasks.
- Make sure that all hazardous materials are stored and disposed of strictly in keeping with host business policies, environmental directives, and guidelines.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of all holding tanks and the accessories that go with them. You should also submit service requests for facilities-related issues.
- Refills holding tanks as needed and combines and tests all coating solutions.
- Uses advanced measurement tools to determine coating needs and rigidity.
- Items are cleaned and then placed in conductive solutions to get them ready for electroplating.
- Calculate the time and electrical current needed to complete the electroplating process.
- Place objects to be electroplated in a frame or hang them from the power supply’s positive and negative terminals.
- All covered objects should be washed in cleaning solutions before being dried with a cloth or centrifugal drier.
- To guarantee compliance with OEM specifications, measure the thickness of the applied coating(s) using precise measurement equipment.
- Make sure that the technical data provided by the manufacturer is followed for the upkeep and certification of all precision measurement equipment.
- Finish all maintenance-related paperwork, including forms for requesting spare parts, information particular to the vehicle, hours of direct labor spent, and activities completed.
- Ensure that all tools, clothes, and personal protective equipment (PPE) that are provided are kept track of, secured, and maintained.
Candidate Requirements:
- Candidate must have high school diploma or relevant degree is required.
- Must have 2 years of experience in performing, metal oxidisation and/or gun bluing is required.
- Previous experience in electroplating training is preferred.
- Must have previous experience in using special tools, precision measuring instruments and electroplating equipment.
- Basic knowledge of using Microsoft Office and SAP is preferred.
- Proficiency in English is required, in both verbally and writing is required.
- Must have valid UAE Driver and forklift license.
