NDRMF Positions details and requirements:

There are 4 different posts available in National Disaster Risk Management the details and requirements of these jobs are given below.

Manager Disaster Risk Financing:

• Posts: 1
• Age: 57 years
• Role: The manager will lead the work and mandate of NDRMF to implement the NDRF strategy and will be responsible for coordinating all stakeholders. Leading research and development relating to the development and design of different disaster financing instruments, reviewing policies, and aligning developments of instruments accordingly.
• Qualification: Required 16 years of education in finance, economics, business administration, risk management, or a related field of study.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of professional experience with 3 or 5 years of specific experience in disaster risk financing, financial management, climate finance, or a similar role.

Manager Project Preparation Facility:

• Position: 1
• Age: 50 to 57 years
• Role: The PPF aims to fully operationalize the NDRMF’s mandated goals and objectives by providing methodology. Technical and practical capacities through institutional strengthening of the partners with a view to enabling them in designing and implementing feasible and bankable project pipelines.
• Education: Master’s degree in project management, business administration, environmental sciences/engineering, or a related field. A PHD or other advanced degree will be an added advantage.
• Experience: At least 7 years of experience in project preparation, project management, or a similar role, preferably in the field of disaster risk management, climate change, or development.

Manager Stakeholder and Donor Coordination:

• Posts: 1
• Age: 57 years
• Role: Responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with NDRMF key stakeholders, including donors’ government agencies, international organizations, and other partners.
• Qualification: Master’s degree in international relations’ development studies, public administration, or related field. A PHD degree will be an advantage.
• Experience: Overall At least 7 years of professional experience 3 to 5 years of experience in donor coordination, stakeholder engagement, or partner management roles.

Manager Monitoring and Reporting:

• Position: 1
• Age: 57 Years
• Roles: Responsible for leading monitoring and reporting functions within the NDRMF. The role involves overseeing the collection, analysis, and dissemination of data related to the performance of the fund’s program and initiatives.
• Experience: The candidate must have 3 or 5 years of experience in monitoring and reporting roles. Preferably in disaster risk management and development sectors.
