About Senior Social Media Officer Job:

As a senior social media officer, your main job will be to make content for Qatar Airways Group’s social media pages. You’ll come up with creative and new ideas, handle photography and video work, and edit content. You’ll also work closely with other team members. Your tasks include putting our social media plans into action, analyzing what competitors are doing, and keeping an eye on social media trends. Our work environment is fast-paced and requires quick adjustments, so being flexible is key to doing well in this role.

Roles and responsibilities of Senior Social Media Officer:

As a Senior Social Media Officer you primary focus on these responsibilities,

• Making content for social media in various formats, such as reels, TikTok, YouTube videos, and shorts, etc.
• Video footage is edited to produce visually appealing and attractive material that supports our project’s goals and brand.
• Plan strategies to improve the social media presence of the company.
• Cover events on Qatar Airways’ social media platforms by utilizing all available resources to create narrative material. Cell phones, Go Pros, Instagram 360s, and cameras.
• Developing and making imaginative ideas and writing scripts
• Make a plan and carry it out to actively interact with and expand our social media following in order to increase conversion and engagement.
• Work together to develop material and manage pre-shoot preparations and arrangements with both internal and external partners.

Qualification required:

• The candidate must have a bachelor degree in social media, digital marketing, media production, 3D graphic design, or fine arts.
• The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the fields of social media and content development.
• Proficient in both written and spoken communication
• Must have the ability to work and handle every situation.
• The candidate must have multi-tasking abilities.
• Developing strong working relationships will be a skill you’ll need to acquire.
• The candidate must be an expert in using different tools like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Lightroom, Photographer, Cinematography, and DaVinci Resolve and Capcut.
