3. Full job description
As a receptionist, clerk, or typist in Vancouver coastal health, you will perform a variety of clerical, reception, and typing duties, such as:
- Welcoming patients;
- Taking Appointments;
- Organizing and keeping up with patient records;
- Enter different patients’ data entries in the database;
- Putting a signature on pictures;
- Making copies or prints of radiology images in the darkroom
- Distributing and gathering reports, dictation tapes, and letters within the department;
- Searching for and making changes to electronic patient data using the hospital and radiology information systems.
4. Qualifications:
Education & Experience
• Bachelors and (1) year of recent relevant experience, plus training, education, and work experience.
Proficiency & Skills
- Capability of 40 wpm tapping keys.
- Abilities of clear written and spoken communication
- Being able to interact with people well
- Work organization skills.
- You must have good stamina to perform the job’s responsibilities.
- Operate and must know the use of relevant machinery.
